Learning at AES

At Ashoka Emergency Services (AES), we are dedicated to raising the bar in emergency response preparedness. We are thrilled to announce that we are in the process of collaborating with a distinguished partner to launch a first-of-its-kind in-house simulation facility and field training programme.

What program we deliver

  • A large-scale training venue designed to simulate real-world emergency scenarios – not just classroom learning, but on-the-ground practical drills.
  • Hands-on training for our responders in high-fidelity environments: mock incidents, realistic response tasks, simulated field dynamics.
  • A structured curriculum that moves beyond theory to enable our team to respond with greater speed, precision and confidence.
  • Once the collaboration is finalised, AES will be the first in our region/sector to initiate this enhanced level of training for our personnel.

Why We Are Doing This

In emergency services, the difference between a good outcome and a critical incident often comes down to preparation and practice. Training in a controlled but realistic simulation environment allows responders to:

  • Rehearse decision-making under pressure;
  • Familiarise themselves with tools, equipment and environments they will face in real missions;
  • Refine their communication, coordination, and execution as part of a team;
  • Build muscle memory and confidence so that when a genuine emergency arises, the response is seamless and effective.

In fact, established training frameworks emphasise that drills, scenario-based exercises and simulations are key components of any serious emergency readiness programme.

What This Means for AES & Our Stakeholders

For our clients and the communities we serve: a higher standard of service, supported by responders who have undergone advanced, realistic preparation.

For our personnel: an opportunity for continuous professional development, exposure to next-level training, and readiness for diverse and challenging situations.

For the emergency services sector as a whole: AES hopes to set a benchmark—by being the first in our area to deploy such comprehensive, field-like simulation training, we aim to inspire other organisations to elevate their training standards too.

Until then, stay tuned! This is a significant milestone in AES’s commitment to excellence, safety and preparedness.
